Asofrutas was established on September 26, 2016, with the purpose of marketing fruit and achieving productive, social, and environmental development for all its members and their families, as well as building a collective recognition. It is composed of 48 families from Pereira. In 2021, they received significant support from the city government, totaling approximately 730 million pesos.
