It is a legally recognized association registered with the Chamber of Commerce under Registration No. 00004662-21, dated December 21, 2001. Currently, it has 25 blackberry producers affiliated.

The association's economic activity represents the 5th productive sector in our municipality, generating approximately 100 permanent direct jobs and more than 200 indirect jobs. We have approximately 30 hectares of cultivated land.

ASOMORIGUA is a producer and marketer of blackberries produced under the framework of clean production, aiming for high levels of effective and efficient market strategies, continuous training, and research applied to the production system. This generates efficient profitability to improve the quality of life for its members.

ASOMORIGUA is a leading association in clean blackberry production in the region, with strong negotiation power in the marketing of its flagship product and other agricultural producers in the region. It is financially self-sustainable and has a high commitment from its members.
