DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY
Cacao del Eje is dedicated to the transformation and commercialization of artisanal and natural cacao-derived products. It is located in the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal, Risaralda.
Cacao del Eje offers its customers healthy products, crafted with blends of locally sourced ingredients, without additives or preservatives.
Focusing on providing customers with confidence in all processes, they aim to showcase the traceability of cacao-derived products through digital means. They will also introduce the culture, traditions, and most representative tourist sites of each of the municipalities of origin of the cacao they work with.
Our beginnings in the world of chocolate involved our participation for 5 years in the Cacao Growers Association in the municipality of Belén de Umbría, contributing to production processes and executing productive alliances, among other projects.
Subsequently, Cacao del Eje was born in the municipality of Belén de Umbría, regularly attending fairs and business events in the city of Pereira, and later relocating to Santa Rosa de Cabal in 2021.
Thanks to our extensive experience in this field, in 2022, we were selected as a project by Fondo Emprender, which we are currently executing.
