DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY
Cafe Glomega is cultivated on the Villamaria agroecological farm, located in the La Convencion sector of the Combia Alta district.
For the past seven years, we have had this family business. Cafe Glomega is grown and processed by the women of the village who are involved in the farm's activities. We practice clean agriculture, free from chemicals, reforest, protect water sources, and conserve the soil. We have a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna and are located within the Coffee Cultural Landscape (PCC). We use composting, vermiculture, and bio-preparations in our practices. Our coffee is grown at high altitudes, cultivated by women, and free from chemicals. It is certified in Good Agricultural Practices (BPA).
We are a retired couple who decided to return to our rural and coffee farming roots in search of having a healthy diet, helping to protect the planet, and providing well-being to the people in the village. We are venturing into ecological tourism, rural lodging, day trips, and offer the entire coffee process. We have a presence on social media.
