DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY
D'Rojo is a Pereira-based brand, 100% made in Colombia and 100% vegan, focused on women. All designs are from micro-collections, which means there are few repetitions per design. The illustrations in the designs are the results of collages created by me, and everything is done using techniques such as sublimation, laser cutting, industrial embroidery, and the layering of textures, colors, and fibers. Furthermore, some details are handcrafted, all with the higher purpose of connecting women with the joy of living.
The company was founded in 2015 in partnership with my mother. In 2018, I decided to continue the venture independently, and in 2019, I began the process with the Emprender Fund. I applied for the call and had the honor of winning it in 2021, which allowed me to receive the necessary support to move forward. Throughout this time, we have attended over 30 fairs in the last 5 years, in places such as Pereira, Armenia, Bogotá, Manizales, Salento, among others. We have also participated in different shopping centers and fairs on platforms like "HECHO EN PEREIRA" by SENA and "EL TAMBO ARTESANO".
