DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY
We are Circular Reconversion, a Colombian R&D startup focused on the Circular Economy. Our approach is centered around developing low-cost technologies to transform sludge and non-"valorizable" waste into usable raw materials. We work with various materials such as plastics, leather, tires, textiles, synthetics, coffee, canvas, PVC, Eva, vegetables, vinyl, Tetra Pak, papers, adhesive labels, wood, polyester, and polypropylene.
We have developed prototypes and have our own binders, inks, and release agents, as demonstrated in the following video: [Link to Video: https://youtu.be/_zHYPfvkhH4]
Since winning a USAID award for the employment opportunities we've created for single mothers working from their homes, and following an invitation from Ruta N, we've shifted our research focus towards empowering the Circular Economy.
