DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY
We are a music academy based in the city of Pereira, with operating licenses granted by the Ministry of Education and the Pereira Department of Education. We provide Technical Music Programs for young adults, as well as open courses for music stimulation and initiation for infants, young individuals, and adults. Additionally, we are authorized Yamaha distributors, offering musical entertainment for children's parties and musical ambiance services for social, corporate, and institutional events.
Majestic was born in 2014 as the graduation thesis of its founder, Marlon Ramírez Naranjo, who is currently the manager and director of the institution. Its goal was to offer high-quality music education for children and adults under the Homeschooling (at home) modality. In 2018, thanks to the growth of the home service, a physical branch was established, expanding its range of services to technical music programs, online music classes worldwide, and in-person classes throughout the coffee-growing region, both at home and at their physical location. They also offer musical ambiance services for events and sell musical instruments through an authorized distribution partnership with Yamaha Musical. At present, Majestic has more than 300 students in the country and over 50 worldwide.
Recognitions:
In 2019, they were awarded the "Mejor Emprendimiento Naranja a nivel nacional" prize by SENA.
In the same year, they were recognized among the top 50 startups founded by UTP graduates in the Prometeo magazine by the Association of Graduates of the Technological University of Pereira.
In 2020, they had the honor of being featured in the first edition of the book "Creer y Emprender," which highlights the top 16 national "Economía Naranja" startups.
