DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY
Nutrifood is a company founded in 2020 by a food engineer and a marine biologist with the aim of adding value to the region's seafood products with innovative and healthy products. It is a company that meets all safety and quality requirements, offering products made from 100% trout pulp, including hamburgers, nuggets, and sausages. We have a continuous innovation process and a presence in cities such as Pereira, Cartago, Bogotá, and Tuluá, selling our products in supermarkets, fish distributors, and fitness stores.
Our company was established in the year 2020 with the vision of creating a healthy processed meat product with high-quality standards. We began developing prototypes and offering them to friends and acquaintances, and the product received a high level of acceptance. Despite starting during the pandemic, we initiated a more formal marketing process in 2021, which led us to become beneficiaries of the "Fondo Emprender," which is currently in execution this year. We have a production facility in Dosquebradas with a high production capacity of 5000 packages per month. We are in the process of coding with Mercamas, Grupo Unidos, and fitness stores.
