We are located in the Municipality of Quinchía in the Central Western region of the country, at an altitude of 1,659 meters above sea level and an average temperature of 18°C. It's a historically coffee-producing municipality with small-scale farmers.

APECAFEQ was founded as an association by 32 coffee growers on March 29, 1994, initiated by MAX-HAVELLAR. Its purpose was to bring together coffee producers and connect them to fair trade coffee markets, thereby enabling continuous improvement in the living conditions of small-scale coffee farmers. We are a nonprofit organization, and all our resources are directed towards various social programs, benefiting all our members.
