LOGO: It represents the Flor de Siete Cueros, a tree in danger of extinction, emblematic of the Serranía Alto del Nudo (whose hill stands out in the center of the flower), located in the municipality of Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia, to which we pay tribute through its reforestation in the area where our high altitude coffee is planted.

WHO WE ARE: The Serranía Alto del Nudo still keeps that magic and mystery that, from our ancestors, managed to survive the barbarism that represented the unbridled eagerness of a generation that, by cutting down large yarumos, Siete Cueros, walnut and cedar trees, brought new species of fruits and plants, thus displacing martejas, cusumbos, bush dogs, armadillos and all kinds of birds. Faced with this panorama, and the area being declared an Environmental Protection Reserve, our brand, Siete Cueros Café de Montaña, arises as a tribute to this beautiful tree that, being on the way to extinction, seeks a second chance in the Serranía.

For this purpose, we have initiated a project of reforestation of the species, beginning in the lots where our coffee is produced, and expanding towards the higher parts of the mountain. It is for this reason that our fundamental focus is to produce specialty coffee, with natural and manual processes, in order to preserve the environmental sustainability of the flora and fauna of the zone. We handle only microlots free of fungicides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers, as well as natural drying, which allows us to obtain an excellent cup of coffee.
