Our association was formed in 2014 with 33 cocoa producing associates from the municipality of Quinchía. In 2020, we had 64 associates and in 2021, between a private company and the Government of Risaralda, we were able to start our cocoa processing plant for the production of table chocolate, chocolate couverture and chocolate candy, which we currently produce and market.

For the start-up, improvement, training, development of new products, equipment acquisition, infrastructure improvement, business image, sanitary registration, among others, we have had the collaboration of UMATA, the Mayor's Office of Quinchía, the Government of Risaralda, the Rural Development Agency, SENA, Minera Miraflores, Fedecacao, the Secretary of Agriculture and the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira.
