DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY
ANMUCC is a national organization created in 1984, with more than 6,500 associates throughout the country. It has 26 departmental associations, including ANMUCIM, which is located in the municipality of Marsella, Risaralda. ANMUCIM is an association that works for the benefit of our associates. We started with 30 associates in 2017. For some time, it was a very quiet association, until the proposal came from the Ministry of Agriculture to be part of an alliance of laying hens. This led to a process of approximately 2 years. Due to this process, we had several partners who withdrew, but also new ones arrived. In 2022, we have 44 partners, of which 40 were beneficiaries of the alliance, receiving economic support from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Mayor's Office, CARDER, SENA, UMATA and the Governor's Office of Risaralda.
We also had the support of a technician and a business partner. Through this accompaniment, the association's documents were updated, training was provided and the self-management fund was saved. Over time, the association has grown stronger. Currently, some members have withdrawn and others have left at meetings of the Board of Directors, since the idea is that members should be responsible and committed to the association.
At this moment we are 34 members, to whom we have been making loans in order to give movement to the self-management fund, where we lend them with very low interest rates according to DTF and ease of payment. These loans are used to invest in the agricultural sector, some for the purchase of new poultry, pigs and broiler chickens. The idea is to continue increasing the capital to obtain more beneficiaries and to be an example for other associations, working for the benefit of the community, especially rural women, providing training and support for these projects.
