DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY
At Ecobell, we are certain that true beauty comes from self-confidence and we know the importance of hair in reflecting how we feel. We created our brand in 2022, my husband and I, tireless dreamers. Our story began with the vision of creating a line of hair care products that were completely natural and effective, seeking to beautify each and every person who uses them.
In our beginnings, we developed our shampoo, conditioner and treatment based on red onion and rosemary, combating the lack of hair growth and hair loss, two of the main problems we all suffer from, as a result of emotions, stress, hormones and others. We quickly expanded our line to include other products: avocado treatment, repolarizer, rose facial foam and the new launch, hair tonic.
Thanks to the positive acceptance of our customers, our sales grew 25% over the first year, thanks to the trust, effectiveness and word-of-mouth referrals of our customers. Our differentiating factor is our commitment to the naturalness and effectiveness of our products; consumers are looking for products that do not contain chemicals and we offer them just that. We are currently in the process of redesigning the brand, where we will improve our packaging to obtain an identity; we want to ensure that when customers see our products, they immediately know that they are dealing with Ecobell, a quality brand.
During the time of creation and positioning, in the first stage of Ecobell, we knew the quality we had, but we did not have INVIMA certification for any of our products. Due to the exponential growth we had and the fact that the profits received were reinvested, we were able to obtain registration for two of our products. The growth did not stop there; therefore, in 2024 we were able to register 3 more products, for a total of 5 out of 7 of our products.
Initially, we had a profitability of 45%; thanks to negotiations with new suppliers and increased production, we have obtained 65% profitability. This increase will allow us to have a margin to open new markets with distributors. Thanks to the investment that the Chamber of Commerce will make in Ecobell, we will obtain the two INVIMA certificates that are missing for our products, and we will develop a hair line for men, to serve a market segment that has not yet been exploited.
In conclusion, Ecobell has not only demonstrated solid growth and profitability, but is also positioned for a bright future with new products and markets. With this investment, we will be able to continue to transform the hair industry with natural and effective products.
